Description

Front and Rear sight set, with angle plates and fasteners.

Griffin armament is proud to introduce affordable Micro Modular Sights™ compatible with Picatinny rail systems. Griffin M2 sights offer an industry first, patent pending, modular base plate system. Constructed from QPQ Treated 17-4 and ordnance grade steel, Griffin M2 Sights were designed to be the correct product for every backup sight application. A shooter can use these durable, low profile sights in a 12 o'clock mounted application while having the flexibility to reconfigure them to ambidextrous 45 degree angle sights using the alternate and available angle plates. This flexibility ensures these sights can be used by anyone and will never end up in a box of undesirable legacy kit. The M2 Sight includes the front and rear sight assemblies as well as two 45 degree bases. However, sights and bases are available separately for users who wish to buy parts as needed. The front A2 sight provides elevation adjustment while ensuring maximum aftermarket support for your favorite post, be it tridium, fiber optic, match grade, or otherwise. An extremely low profile, snag resistant, slotted rear windage screw, affords easy but more importantly secure adjustability. Robust spring tension of both front and rear flip up assemblies ensures accurate repeatability every time the sight towers are actuated. Never before has a product in this category offer this degree of flexibility. Griffin M2 Sights have a minimal foot print, and are among the smallest backup sights on the market. For a mere 2 and half ounces your rifle can be equipped with a durable iron sight system, to provide aiming capability in rain, snow, or fog, on or off axis without dependence on batteries or glass.

Lefty Nation Representative here - If you want the right offset 45's for your rifle, there is no other place than to look than right here. Quality made product, with easy install and easy zero makes it that much better. Couldn't find a good set of BUISs for my lefty set up until I landed at G.A. and I'm so glad I did. Do yourself a favor and get them if you are looking for a proper offset lefty or ambi set up.

    Great BUIS!

Great little BUIS. Be careful installing these though, don’t over-tighten because a hole will go through your upper...lesson learned. But other than that, really great piece of equipment that’s lightweight..

Awesome sights, I did a lot of research before buying. They lock up solid in either position. Hard core material choices and plating are used. I'm a Journeyman machinist with 40+ years experience.
These are worth having, my 3rd set.
I can hit Torso targets at 100+ yards with 11.5" barrel. (I'm 57 yrs. with glasses.)

    M2 offset sights

    Sirs,

I just wanted to give you some feedback on your M2 back up sights. My hope is that this may help you improve on the sights.

To give a little history, I was looking for offset back up sights for my duty rifle that I am running a LPV optic in a scalarworks mount. After my research, I decided on Griffin M2 sights, due to construction, simplicity, and equally important weight. I am pleased with the sights, and they WILL do what I need them to do, as they are - that being, back up irons for CQB at short ranges. However, I believe you should spend some time looking at them, as there are some customers, that would probably give them a bad review.

The rear sight is superb! I wouldn't change a thing. The front sight needs a little tweaking. When the front sight is flipped up on the one that I purchased, there is side to side play between the front sight post assembly, and the front sight base. The play is not a lot - approximately the thickness of a couple of business cards. As is, it will have repeatable enough accuracy for what I intend to do with them - CQB back up sights. However, there are those that demand the utmost in repeatable accuracy, and I am afraid they will be very disappointed.

Perhaps removing any non-essential metal from the sight bases and the rail mounts would allow for a closer fit to other items on the rail, such as lights, and/or lasers, as well as making them lighter.

Again, I am satisfied with the sights, and am doing nothing here but advising you that you may want to spend some time looking at the tolerances of the product.

Thank you for your time, and I hope this helps.

    really nice backup sights

picked up Griffin armaments sights for a lightweight AR10 2A armament build.
I used the 45deg mount and set it up for a lefty.
fit the rail very well and clears my 30mm scope view wise.
they give a great sight picture and hold zero.
light weight in a all steel sight, hell yes.

Fantastic Sights & a Great Option for Lefties

Published by Chris on 27th Aug 2018

I’0Im a southpaw and wanted flip-up offset iron sights for my LMT 308 MWS. After finding the M2s I decided to give them a try. After a year and a half I can’0It say enough good things about the M2s! Easy to set up, yet extremely robust, they’0Ive held up to the stress of the 308. No issues holding zero what so ever. The M2s are now my go to offset sight. I like them so much I just ordered my 3rd set.
