Griffin Taper Mounts interface with RECCE, Paladin®, EXPLORR®, Sportsman, and Bushwhacker® series silencers, as well as all pistol silencers (Revolution and Resistance series) when using the minimalist blast shield.. The Minimalist series supports the Optimus® 9 Mid-Size configuration as well as Optimus micro with taper extension.
Constructed of 17-4 PH stainless steel, the Taper Mount Minimalist flash suppressor has 3 flash suppressing tines which have anti-reasonance features integrated. The Minimialist flash suppressor weighs 2.9 ounces , approximately 40% less than that of most competing flash suppressor mounts. The lighter weight reduces suppressor system weight while making the host firearm barrel lighter and more responsive to the shooter. The flash suppressor does not require timing. Taper Mount Thread Protector is compatible with this muzzle device for added protection of thread mounts.

I purchased a minimalist flash suppressor for a Zastava M90 to attach a Recce 5 that I received in my very first Griffin subscription box. It works great and everyone loves it. I recommend buying a griffin armorers wrench to snug it on as some other wrenches are to fat to fit between the threads and the base. There was no slot for the mount adapter driver on mine.
Fantastic product with excellent workmanship. Bought this on the Black Friday sale as it was too good to pass up. I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet as a mount as my Recce 5 is still in process. I’m extremely impressed with the quality and service I’ve gotten from Griffen. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the brothers that founded the company at Aim Surplus at an event (when I bought my Recce 5) and you can definitely appreciate the pride and knowledge that he has in his company’s products. Excellent product. Put a drop of blue Loctite on the threads to prevent it from backing off when a Bushwacker 46V2 is attached.

This is the fourth item I have ordered from griffin. All have shipped quickly, worked properly, and have held up great. Zero issues with any of the muzzle adaptors from .22 up to .308. great finish, products, and awesome customer support. 10/10 will buy again
I have these on several 5.56 firearms, one 300 Blackout and one 7.62x39. It is a great product if you intend on using the minimalist blast shield in combination with one of Griffin's suppressors. If you're looking to suppress an AK variant, DO NOT purchase the 14x1 LH minimalist flash hide as it will index off your front sight post and not the barrel. I bought two thinking the muzzle device was the issue the first time. I even wound up sending the rifle back to the manufacturer, where they confirmed concentricity of the bore. What I wound up having to do is purchase the 5/8x24 adapter a 3rd minimalist flash hider in 5/8x24. After that is worked extremely well. Just a pain that they would offer the 14x1 LH version even though it will not work. If I didn't purchase an alignment rod to be sure, I would have ruined the suppressor. I'm sure they would repair or replace it though, should that happen.
As I have come to expect from Griffin. Excellent craftsmanship. Fit and finish 100%. Looks great on a AR pistol.
