The Griffin Precision Mount™ (GPM™) mounts are machined in-house in Watertown, WI from lightweight aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum. GPM™ mounts incorporate a dowel pin alignment system allowing use of the Accessory Interface Suite (AIS™) of products, affording ambidextrous modular accessory support. The unique patented design splits the rings on two parallel but offset planes allowing accessories to be mounted on five AIS™ mounting surfaces: top, left, right, and 45° left & right offsets affording unsurpassed, ambidextrous flexibility.

A heavy emphasis on anatomically correct positioning of optics was placed on AIS™ products, leading to the development of the Rapid Transition Optics (RTO™) plates. RTO™ plates position secondary non-magnified optics on optical centerline relationship with the stock comb for comfortable, rapid, targeting with a simple roll of the host firearm.

AIS™/RTO™ Plates Currently Support: Griffin Micro Sight™ (GMS™), Aimpoint Acro, T1/T2, H1/H2, Comp m5, Sig Romeo, Vortex Spark, Trijicon RMR , SRO, Holosun HE507C, HS407C, HS508C, Leupold Deltapoint, J point, Optima, Dr optic, Meopta, Insight Microdot, Burris Fastfire, Vortex Venom & Viper, CMORE STS, RTS, STS2, and Vortex Razor, Wilcox Raptar Mount, and Simrad Adaptor Plate. Picatinny AIS™ plates are also offered.

Other accessories will be developed to support future market technology, keeping the system at the forefront of the precision space.

Features:

  • AMERICAN MANUFACTURED at GRIFFIN HQ
  • AIS™ Technology (Accessory Interface Suite) Allowing the user to mount accessories wherever they desire.
  • RTO™ Accessory Support (Ability to mount Rapid Transition Optic™ plates to the system for a 40° co-witness to the primary optic)
  • Dowel pin alignment interface
  • Ambidextrous Support
  • Unibody Construction
  • 12 (qty), 8-40 T15 fasteners for ring clamping
  • 4 (qty), 10-32 fiber lock patched T15 fasteners for rail clamping
  • Individually probed datums drive all machining during the manufacturing process for peerless dimensional consistency
  • Stanag 4694 Compliant attachment, for precise return to zero
  • Type 3 milspec hardcoat anodizing
  • Lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum construction matches the material of the optics used in the mounts - similar weight to thinner, 7075 mounts of similar styles which are twice the price of GPM mounts.
  • Utility patented to support future technology development in the electro-optics industry

Optic height is determined by measuring from the top of the picatinny rail to the centerline of the tube diameter. To find the height to the bottom of the ring cradle, subtract the radius of the tube diameter from the height shown.

The GPM™ foundation is a unibody base that cradles the optic eliminating extraneous parts and interfaces which are often traceable to loss of zero retention, or tolerance stacking and subsequent loss of interfacing accuracy. The dowel pin alignment interface in the GPM™ family of mounts - further reduces loss of zero and provides high alignment accuracy. A precision rifle is useless after loss of zero, and serious precision shooters should not tolerate it.

In an industry space where raw extrusion, substandard job shop quality, cheaply made clamped on base rings, and an emphasis on efficiency and cost reduction over quality are normal, why does Griffin bring a wasteful level of manufacturing time and technology to Optic mounts? Because these are Griffin Precision Mounts™. Gear made by snipers for everyone, GPM™ mounts are the next generation of sniper grade, precision rifle optic mounts.

    Robust

Published by Mike on 17th Jul 2024

Really tough design. I'd rather have a few more in a mount and not have to worry about being gentle with it. This thing is built like a tank. My only suggested improvement would be to machine some of the clamping bar to make it even with the flat part of the mount directly under the turrets. I had to take the clamping bar off to use the feeler gauge method to level the scope. Not really a complaint, since I know the clamp is stronger without the machining.

    Never going back to rings

Published by Andy Beckett on 12th Jun 2024

Got one of these to replace the crappy rings I had on my bolt gun and holy crap am I happy I did! The rings I had were such a pain in the ass to get right and they would lose zero if I hit a pothole too hard driving to the range. This mount has never come loose on me, and I think the one-piece design makes it MUCH more solid. Missed a 12-pointer last season, but I won't let that happen again!
