Black 10.5 inch Low Profile RIGID M-LOK Picatinny Rail from Griffin Armament.

Description

Griffin Armament® Low-Pro rails are a slim, low profile, ultralight, yet rigid M-LOK rail. Design objectives of this rail were to provide a slim, ultralight rail, with increased rigidity over similar weight and profile current market options. A custom extrusion provides significant internal reinforcement to reduce flex when gripping the carbine firmly in the shoulder pocket. Understanding the importance of low light targeting, these reinforcements provide rigid mounting for IR laser aimers ensuring minimal POI shift when torque is applied to fore-grip type accessories, or when loads are applied to the rail (shooting off barricades, loaded bipods etc). Internal testing showed 70% less POI shift with laser aimers versus competing "slim rails". Carefully positioned slots in the rail allow for rapid cooling when running the carbine fast while maintaining rigidity.

The Low-Pro rail features a close tolerance, heavy-duty, 17-4 stainless steel H900 heat treated barrel nut, which can be installed with the included Griffin GI Armorers Wrench.  The rail is very user friendly to install. The slip fitted clamp design doesn't requiring any shims or special timing methods. The clamp boss in the rear section of the rail is low profile and ergonomically pleasing for relaxed posture carry at static positions. Flat head T15 torx screws should be tightened to 25/in pounds. The barrel nut should be tightened to ~55ft/lbs.  


M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions allow for mounting of your favorite M-LOK accessories.

    Right out of the box I was happy with my purchase. Solidly constructed and designed, I appreciated the balanced weight of it. I picked up this and the 8.6” low pro. Can’t wait to get them installed and working. I have no doubt these will be great additions to my rifles.

    The product was well packaged and secured. Also would like to get your railshield Mlok panels but sounds like it’s discontinued. That’s a shame.

    Great rail. Buy an inch shorter if suppressing later. I have a 10.5 in barrel for this new build. Suppressor adapter will not clear enough to add a suppressor. I’ll need to buy the 9.5in for this build. Overall. Love how light and compact the rail is.

    I’ve now bought a couple rails from Griffin along with the rail protectors. Vole rifles I old enough belts they are the best quality I’ve used. They balance rigidity and weight with just a good feel in your hand. I have the SR and the low pro. I think both have their place but my recent was below pro And I love it. My one complaint on the product is that the version that you usually see and ads he has a different way to secure the hand guard which was a real big selling feature as well as the screw mounts on top of the Picatinny rail which the new version does not have either but otherwise I would rate this A much better value for your money and even comparable with a Geissele rail. They also have extremely good pricing lately and if you’re alarm force meant or prior military you get a great discount on everything. They have great customer service and they ship their products out immediately which I love and most of the larger parts supply companies have fallen very short on.

    Great quality and finish. I like that the bottom is smooth and doesn't have a hump where bolts are used by other manufacturers.
