The Plan-A™ XL adds 0.80" in length over the original Plan-A™ Taper Mount Adapter, or 1" to the suppressor OAL which allows for more silencers to be compatible with a wider range of Griffin Armament Taper Mount muzzle devices.

Very well made and works as a blast shield for all the taper mount sizes on my Bushwacker 46. Ads a little to overall legnth, but looks good. It would be nice if there was an 1 1/4" slot on one of the wrenches to help unscrew it in case it got too tight. I just don't over tighten and its works fine...but first install on can was very difficult to remove without help from a tool. Im very pleased overall.
This is a good quality product, providing a method for me to use whisper pickles of multiple brands on all my rifles fitted with the taper mount flash hiders.
Fit and finish is superb! The fit up to the other company's tube is fantastic and it rides very nice across all the various Griffin Taper Mount muzzle devices on my hosts. I own a Paladin and a Recce, but needed this "adapter" to bring another can into the family of Griffin interchangeability. I like the "XL version" over the standard Plan A due to the extra volume, and the ability to extend a longer muzzle device into the can without worrying about hitting the baffle stack.
I purchased this to see if I could use it to convert my Banish 30 suppressor to taper mount. The threads just quite don’t line up. No fault of griffins as they use the standard pitch. The actual adapter is well machined and threads onto my taper mount muzzle devices well.
Excellent machining, fir and finish from Griffin as usual. I've ordered from them several times and always feel it is money well spent. All my rifles are setup on taper mount devices and I use their adapters for my form 1 can. Love everything I've ever purchased from them and will be buying a suppressor from them soon. Keep doing what you are doing Griffin! Excellent products and customer support when I've needed it. Also got some nifty stickers with my last order which I'm a big fan of! It's simple enough, but makes you feel all special and what not

Can confirm this allow a silencerco 46 and rex 308 can to fit on the flash comp.
