Taper Mount Minimalist Blast Shield

Griffin is one of few companies that continue to hit the ball out of the park for SO many things. The Mini Blast Shield is one of them. It's insanely tough, and even though measurements show it's not long enough to use on their longer taper devices like the Flash Comp, it only sticks out a couple millimeters. I use it on a Hammer Comp, which is completely concealed. I don't fit it to a suppressor (will later on... thank you government) yet and only use it as a blast shield. Excellent product for that. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 because for some baffling reason... pun intended... it does NOT include the damn thread protector. Capitalism is great but nothing if not sometimes annoying. Regardless - I have it on a PWS 11.85" upper and it does the job just fine while being tougher than the bowl of nails I ate for breakfast with a beautiful finish. I just had to pay an extra 16 bucks or whatever for the thread protector an non-permanent thread locker to keep on until, well, the non-elected government officials decide I can get my can.

Works great as a blast shield but even better with my Optimus for a more compact mid-length configuration. Highly recommended to purchase the thread protector separately.

Using with minimalist 3 prong flash hider, Works as designed! Fit and finish great! Yet another great product from GA. If you're looking for a smaller foot print that is easy to remove with your other taper mount minimalist items, this fits the bill perfectly.

this is a must have with Optimus

Using this mainly with the 300bo setup when suppressed, then as a blast shield when in suppressed on all of my rifles. Like the short configuration of the Optimus a lot. Sweeeet, does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Thanks again Griffin.

The product fit well onto my resistance 45 supressor and has a nice finish. I purchased this so I could mount my supressor on my fixed barrel rifle, however this is only one of two components that you need to accomplish the task. The cost seems high for what it is, basicly a 2" long hollow tube with male threads on one end and female threads on the other. I also had to purchase a flash supressor that threads directly to my barrel. The blast sheild then threads between the actual supressor and the flash supressor, like a coupling. So you have to shell out $200 to mount on to a rifle. I don't understand why they couldn't make the blast sheild thread directly onto the barrel. If that was the case and it still sold for around $100 I would rate it 5 stars

Excellent addition to my Optimus Suppressor

There’s not a whole lot to this part, it works as expected with no issues. It works perfectly with my Optimus suppressor.
