Griffin Armament Thread Protector for Taper Mount muzzle devices only. Not for use with M4SD or 30SD (SDQD Muzzle Devices) These are not required for operation, but some consider them nice to have. Suppressor mounts included with suppressors do not include thread protectors.
Thread protector has taper mount interface and does not shoot loose.
Was not aware these were even available till a few weeks ago. Bought one for every one of my taper mounts that I use my Griffin revolution 45 suppressor on.
Works great and allows you to use the muzzle brake without removing it.

My opinion they should come with the muzzle device.
The protector works, I have installed it to my taper mount and it does what it states. I have no issues with it what so ever.
Griffin products are all well made with superb machine work.
